Film Making Competition

Theme: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Lives

Introduction:

Glocal After School (venture of Glocal Pvt. Ltd.) is organizing a film making competition for the Skill Week event 2021. The open competition is being organized to provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers to showcase their talents, compete for opportunities and enhance their skills.

Competition Overview:

Film making is art to portray our perception, understanding, experience and feelings through story, documentary or other media. As we have come up with the skill week, we have announced for the 2- minutes film making competition with the theme is ‘Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Lives’.

Yes! We all know that skill is very important for us to be successful. Why not share the stories we experienced, or we have seen around our surroundings?

Why Participate in the competition?

The film making enthusiasts can showcase their skills demonstrating their creative ideas related to skills, and employability.

Eligibilities:

1. Should be a Nepali Citizen
2. Should be from the age group of 18 -25 years;
3. Film should be in the theme – “Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Lives”

Criteria:

1. Entry to the competition is free!
2. Film(s) can be submitted in either individually or group (no more than 3 members in a group)

3. Quality of the video should be of 1080p and in mp4 format.
4. The applicants has to upload in google drive;
5. During submission, applicants should provide a brief description of the concept.

Where to submit the Films/Video?

Participants are called upon to submit their film by email at communication@glocalnepal.com. The Subject of the email should be “Film Making Competition – Skill Week”

Prize:

The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize NRs.10,000.

March 6, 2021 by 7:00 pm (Nepal Standard Time)
