Competition Overview
The Skill Writing Competition challenges young writers to craft a powerful, well-researched article (800–1200 words). The winning writer will be awarded an internship opportunity at Kantipur Publications (Kantipur Daily / Kathmandu Post). Join us on-site at Embark College on January 16th, 2026!
Why Participate in the Article Writing Competition?

Eligibility Requirements:
- Open to Nepali citizens only
- Age: 16–25 years
- Article must be in Nepali OR English (choose one)
Participation Process:
- Registration for the application
- All registered participants will be invited to live writing competition on 16th January, 2025
- Quiet writing space will be provided
Event Guidelines:
- Word limit: 800-1200 words
- Article must be 100% original
- Articles will be judged on: research depth, clarity, storytelling, relevance, and language command
Capacity
Maximum 20 participants (first-come, first-served on the event day)
Prize: Rs. 5,000 Cash Prize
Venue: Embark College, Pulchowk
Deadline for Registration: December 31, 2025
