Attention pentesters! Flex your skills in this new edition of Capture the Flag (CTF) organized by Glocal After School. This is an information security contest where participants will attempt to capture a flag which is basically a string of sensitive information. They will capture these flags using their ethical hacking skills and put these flags into the CTF server.
Capture The Flag (CTF) are competitions that revolve around major disciplines of professional computer security work. They can be super fun and rewarding to the people of the security community. These events take part on a skill level basis with the highest level competitions being targeted at cyber security teams. These events can be a great hobby for those interested in problem-solving and/or cyber security.
It is a Jeopardy-style CTF where competitors will be presented with a series of questions related to Web, Forensics, Cryptography, and Network. Each question will have a certain number of points that the users can gain after solving it. Capture the flag competitions can help improve security skills and identify talent.

CTF events are great places to meet fellow information security enthusiasts/professionals.
Should be a Nepali Citizen;
Should be from the age group of 16 -25 years;
Should have cyber security skills.
Maximum number of 2- 3 participants per team takes place in this competition.
Teams must complete as many cybersecurity challenges as they can from a given selection, testing their skills and knowledge on a diverse range of computer security categories in novel and creative ways.
Typical tasks are related to networking, programming, applications, mobile, forensics, reverse engineering, and cryptography. For each challenge a team completes, a specific number of points is rewarded.
The team with the highest number of points will be the winning team.

The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of NRs. 10,000.
