Welcome to Essay Writing Competition 2024
Introduction to the Competition.
Glocal After School (a venture of Glocal Pvt. Ltd.) is organizing an essay writing competition for Skill Week 2024. This open competition aims to provide a platform for enthusiastic writers to showcase their creative abilities on the topic- “Power of Skill Development.” All interested participants aged between (18 – 29 years) can submit their write-ups and share their insights on the significance of skill development in today’s dynamic world.
Essay writing is a powerful medium for expressing ideas and fostering creativity. Participants are encouraged to explore the importance of honing skills, both individual and collective, as a driving force for personal growth, economic progress, and societal advancement. Essays may explore various aspects of skill development, including its impact on employment, innovation, and overall societal well-being. By fostering a deeper understanding of the power of skill development, we aim to inspire individuals and communities to invest in continuous learning and development.
Why Participate?
This competition is designed to cultivate and enhance participants’ writing skills while providing a platform to share valuable perspectives on the transformative power of skill development in Nepal. By focusing on a specific theme, participants will think critically and creatively about how skills shape the future of individuals and the nation.
Eligibilities:
- Should be a Nepali Citizen.
- Should be from the age group of 16 – 29 years.
- Should submit their write-ups on the topic– “Power of Skill Development.”
Criteria
- Word count must be between 500-800 words.
- Write-ups need to be in English and submitted via the Registration form provided.
- Write-ups must be original and unpublished; plagiarized entries will be rejected.
- Writing should have a heading/title, body content, and conclusion.
- Entries must be received by March 22, 2024.
Submission Deadline: March 22, 2024, by 7:00 pm (Nepal Standard Time).
Prize: The winner of this competition will get a cash prize of
NPR. 5,000.
